Angelina and her brother Bohdan were under the russian  missile strike in Kupyansk. The rocket hit straight in the yard of their neighbor. Children’s father Sergiy defended them by his back and died immediately. 

From the first days of full-scale russian invasion the city Kupyansk (Kharkiv region) was under occupation. The humanitarian catastrophe had been lasting all the time. Sergiy and his four children - Angelina, Bohdan, Elena and Valery - survived as best they could. The food was provided only from Ukrainian humanitarian aid. The family had been hiding in the shelter, and didn’t go out often - they were afraid of russian soldiers. 

One day the russian rocket hit the garden of the family and killed their dog. After that children became even more frightened. And then - one more tragic missile strike from russsians, after which  the children lost their father. Bogdan got trauma of hand, and Angelina got trauma of legs and eyes. The children were evacuated to Kharkiv hospital, and then - to Kyiv. 

The team of Smart Medical Aid organized the evacuation of children and their guardians (godparents) to Vienna hospital. There Angelina will have the operation after which she will be able to walk.
